Aimable tries to pretend his wife has not left him, and indulges in a drinking binge. Act One ends with Aimable flat on his face, to the amazement of the stunned townspeople. listen to: Any Day Now Day
	Aimable is too despondent to bake, so the townsfolk try to, uh, cheer him up a bit. listen to: Luckiest Man /Feminine Companionship
The ladies of the town are deserted as the men go looking for the only thing that will make Aimable bake again: Genevieve. listen to: Romance	Rachel, Bridget and Liz. More of that "deep depth".
