As Genevieve grows dissatisfied with her safe and uneventful
existence, the town ladies man, Dominique, moves in to fill the void. Tensions
develop between Genevieve and Aimable.

I wasn't sure just how
Dominique should be portrayed- I wanted him to be forceful, but not too
aggressive or overbearing. From there, I just... wasn't... sure. No worries.
Jared brought a playfulness to the role that was just the counter-point the
character needed. As a connoisseur of romantic comedy I should have seen it
right away. I guess that's one reason (of many) that I don't get paid to do
this.

John
Konrad built the frame for the set in sections in his garage (in very cold
December weather). Marion Kellum painted the skin in his garage, in very cold
January weather. John put it together in about three days 10 days before we
opened, and we dressed it for the remainder of the rehearsal schedule. It
won an award, but it still wasn't even finished. It was supposed to have
street lights, and cobblestones, and foliage. The horizon cyc looks like
crap, and there was supposed to be a horizon effect with dawn and dusk. I
couldn't get it done. still, John
and Marion did great work!
